Hi there, I’m Didi Chang-Park, a PhD candidate at Cornell in the Department of Comparative Literature. This blog started off as a way for me to share brief close readings of poems, or to simply to mark down my appreciation for them, but it has since become a place to draft notes on various texts and to reflect on my research as I attempt to write a dissertation. It also represents a concerted effort to share writing that is less formed than what I would normally be comfortable sharing. In order to keep this site alive, I have told myself not to write with as much circumspection, though the goal is still to produce writing that might be readable and useful for my future self and for others. I also maintain a sort of feed more frequently on Twitter, where I mostly post quotes and screenshots from things I’m reading. Also, here are some links to past term papers. I can be contacted at [email protected].
